The City of Toronto's next election will be held on October 22, 2018. The ward boundaries have changed since the last election, so Toronto voters will be selecting 1 mayor, 47 councillors, and school trustees.
The incumbent mayor, John Tory, is seeking re-election - so it may not be a hot race, but as Canada's largest city, it is always one to watch (and generally there are several dozen candidates for mayor, more than in any other city and usually including some wacky ones ... so it's never boring!).
Who's running? The candidates below have officially filed their papers. Other candidates have until Friday, July 27 at 2pm to file.
