The City of Whitehorse's next election will be held on October 18, 2018. Voters will elect 1 mayor and 6 councillors, all who run at large. In the last election (2015), there were 3 candidates for mayor and 22 candidates for councillor.
The incumbent mayor is Dan Curtis. He indicated in a May 2018 media story that he would be seeking re-election for a third term.
