The Basics: Don Woodstock is running for Mayor in the City of Winnipeg. He is a perennial candidate, including running in the 2007 provincial election in Manitoba, the 2014 municipal election in Winnipeg, the 2015 federal election, and the 2016 provincial election.
Background: Woodstock was born in Jamaica. He moved to Winnipeg as an adult, and worked as a Winnipeg Transit driver.
Platform: Woodstock's website does not yet include a platform, but it does references issues such as infrastructure, the environment, poverty, and accountability. It also includes a section on funny election pics.
