Win or lose, mayoral candidates shape cities

Mayoral campaigns are unlike any other political race in the country. Win or lose, mayoral candidates have a unique opportunity to advance big ideas, mobilize people, and change our cities. Mayoral campaigns also offer window to peek into our cities at a particular point in time.

This weekend, we will be exploring the impact and dynamics of the most recent mayoral races in three Canadian cities - Vancouver, Calgary, and Charlottetown - through a special panel at the DemocracyXChange conference. We have a great panel lined up, and will be exploring a number of big questions about cities and their priorities, the dynamics of mayoral campaigns, and local politics.

Join us by following along at #DXC19 on Sunday, January 27, 2019 around 3pm.
