Northern Mayors

Canada's territories represent almost 40% of Canada's land mass, with less than a third of one percent of Canada's population. The entire population of the territories combined is roughly the same as the City of St. John's, with around 113,500 people.

There are only two cities in the territories with populations above 10,000: the City of Whitehorse in the Yukon, with 25,000 people; and, the City of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, with 20,000 people.

Let's meet their mayors.
