By accessing and using www.mayorsproject.ca (the “Site”), whether through that Internet address or otherwise, you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms of Use. The Mayors Project reserves the right to modify or alter these Terms of Use without notice or penalty and by using the Site you are agreeing to be bound by any such modifications, alterations or amendments. Reserved Rights and Grant of Limited Licence

Unless otherwise noted, all content is Copyright © The Mayors Project. All rights reserved. The Site contains information, software, communications, text, graphics, advertising, images, photos, artwork and other material and services (collectively, the “Information”) that are protected by various Canadian and international intellectual property laws, including but not limited to copyright and trademark law, and other proprietary rights, which rights exist in the Information currently on the Site and which rights will continue to exist in all Information developed or posted on the Site in future. Permission is granted to use (display or print) short extracts of the Information on the Site for personal, non-commercial, transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a limited licence, not a transfer of title, and under this limited licence you may not:

  1. modify, copy, reproduce, republish, or re-disseminate the Information;
  2. use the Information for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

As a visitor to the Site, you do not have to submit any personal information in order to use this Site. By visiting the Site, you agree that The Mayors Project may collect and use information for the appropriate purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access this Site. Our Privacy Policy is regularly updated. Your continued access of the Site following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will mean you accept and agree to be bound by such changes.

Unless you identify yourself, The Mayors Project does not identify individual visitors to our website other than by their IP address. The Mayors Project only use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website and to gather broad demographic information using a standard website statistics software package. This helps The Mayors Project to understand what information is most useful so that The Mayors Project can make it easier to find out information and to provide the most up-to-date, relevant information to visitors.
